兵庫県宝塚市内で活動しているアマチュア男性ミュージカル劇団「ミュージカル・バディーズ」が、2024年9月23日（月曜、振替休日）に、神戸市中央区の湊川神社・楠公会館「青雲の間」で日本語と英語で上演した、オリジナル歴史ミュージカル『龍起伝 ～楠木正成と久子～』には、日本語公演に約120人、英語公演は約80人のお客様が来場されました（日本語公演の入場料は1,000円、英語公演は入場無料）。当初は客席定員100人の予定でしたが、客席を増やしての対応が必要になるほどの多数のご来場、ありがとうございました。
楠木正成は、約500人を率いて約20万人の鎌倉幕府軍と戦い続け、ついに鎌倉幕府を倒した日本史上最大の軍事的天才の１人と言われる武将。『龍起伝 ～楠木正成と久子～』では、楠木正成、妻の久子、盟友の武将・赤松円心、ともに戦った大塔宮護良親王、息子の楠木正行らの登場人物に加え、後醍醐天皇、足利尊氏、新田義貞らを、わずか3人の出演者で演じ、歌いました。

The Japanese-language performance was attended by about 120 people, and the English-language performance by about 80 people (admission to the Japanese-language performance was 1,000 yen, and admission to the English-language performance was free). Masashige Kusunoki is said to be one of the greatest military geniuses in Japanese history, who led a force of about 500 men against the 200,000-strong Kamakura Shogunate army and finally defeated the Kamakura Shogunate. In “Ryuukiden: Kusunoki Masashige and Hisako,” only three performers played and sang the roles of Emperor Godaigo, Ashikaga Takauji, and Nitta Yoshisada, in addition to characters such as Kusunoki Masashige, his wife Hisako, his ally, the military commander Akamatsu Enshin, Prince Ootonomiya Moriyoshi who fought together, and his son Kusunoki Masatsura.
